FLYING COPS HOSPITAL ON THE 20th NOVIMBER 1916.
-0-0-0-0-0-
Froposed by Lieut-General Sir David Henderson
and carried
That in view of the attitude of the Hongkong
War Charities Committee, as represented by its Hongkong
representatives, the Committee of the Royal Flying
Corps Hospital regret that they are unable to accept
the proposed contribution of £10,000 a year to be
devoted to an extension of the Hospital. The Committee,
understanding that the Hongkong War Charities Committee
would much prefer the accaptance of the alternativa
offer of £200 a month to the funds of the Royal Flying
Corps Hospital with the only condition that the
principal ward continue to be named after the Colony,
accept it gladly. The President is hereby
authorised to write a letter, to be approved by the
Committee, to H. E. the Governor of Hongkong, for the
information of the War Charities Committee, giving
the reasons for this decision."
